It's done, it's over

The visit to my doctor today would have been my 10 week pregnancy check up. Instead of the happiness and excitement of my first check up I waited to be told whether or not I needed a D & C. 

After being checked by the Doctor he told me that my uterus is back to normal and he didn't notice any bleeding.  "I think it's done, it's over."  Those words shocked me.  He left the room. I cried.  It's done, it's over.  It was supposed to be just starting. It's done, it's over. I cried all the way home. It's done, it's over. This was supposed to be an exciting time. It's done, it's over. I went to bed and cried.  It's done, it's over.  Again with the don't think, just sleep ,don't think, just sleep. It's done, it's over.
